The Louisiana Office for
Addictive Disorders believes the primary Outcome Measures of successful
learning events (i.e., workshops, trainings, and conferences) should be;
learning, improved individual, and organizational performance. A review
of the literature indicates that there are multiple systemic factors
(i.e., Participant Characteristics, Event Design Characteristics, and
Organizational Characteristics) that influence these primary outcomes
All communications / correspondence (pre, during, and
post event) with event registrants, and participants will be coordinated
through this Event Management and Learning Transfer Support Site. This
site will provide a central location for all event registrations,
confirmations, and cancellations. In addition, all pre, during, and post
event communications, exercises, event evaluations and effectiveness
surveys will be coordinated through the site.
This web site has been designed to more efficiently
and effectively manage learning events (i.e., meetings, workshops,
trainings, and conferences) scheduled throughout the State of Louisiana,
and to support the Primary Outcome Measures of Learning, Individual, and
Organizational Performance by reducing the identified factors that
inhibit learning, and learning transfer, while promoting, and supporting
the identified factors that enhance Learning, and Learning Transfer from
these events to the workplace. |
